1) The Contract is made between the hirer and Gites4Us.

2) Acceptance of Booking

a). Acceptance of the booking is subject to the receipt of the appropriate deposit or full payment together with the booking form duly submitted.

The signature of the hirer on the booking form confirms that he or she has read and accepts and agrees to be bound by the conditions listed here.

b). Payment should be made by cheque made payable to G.E. & E.A. Nuttall

c). The balance of payment, together with a bond of 50 per gte, is due eight weeks before your arrival at the gte. A reminder will be sent two weeks prior to the payment date. Unless payment is received by that due date we reserve the right to treat your booking as cancelled and to make a cancellation charge as detailed below. (See Condition 5).

3). Accommodation Services

a). The price of the gte includes an allowance for gas and electricity of up to 15 per week. Use in excess will be calculated at the end of the holiday and deducted from the bond before the balance is returned.

b). The price does not include the provision of bed linen. This can be provided at a cost of 1.00 per person per week as detailed in the booking form. If you order the supply of bed linen this will be invoiced when the balance of the price of the holiday is due. If your booking is within eight weeks of the holiday full payment is required with the booking.

c). As tenant you undertake to pay:

i). All charges for electricity and gas used during the period of letting in excess of the allowance.

ii). All reasonable charges for breakage or damage caused by your party during the letting period.

4). Deposits

a). 100 per gte at the time of booking, unless your holiday commences within eight weeks of your booking, when the full amount is required. The deposit is part of the price of the holiday. In addition there is a 50 per gte returnable bond required at the time of the final payment.

b). You are within your rights to replace small articles damaged or broken during your stay. We reserve the right to charge from your bond for any articles not so replaced or for damage done during your stay.

c). Should major damage occur or fuel charges exceed the value of the bond remaining we reserve the right to invoice you for the excess charges.

d). All monies due to you from the returnable bond will be returned as soon as possible following the end of your holiday.

5). Cancellation

a). If you wish to cancel your booking after either the deposit or the full price has been paid you should advise us immediately in writing. Cancellation fees will be calculated from the day on which we receive your written cancellation. If no written notification is received by us, the outstanding balance, if not re-let, will be payable by you.

b). Cancellation fees: In case of cancellation the charges due will be as follows:

i). Any time from confirmation of booking to eight weeks before the arrival at the gte, deposit is forfeit.

ii). From eight weeks to three weeks prior to arrival at the gte, 50% of the gte hire price is due.

iii). From 20 days to 8 days, 70% of the gte hire is due.

iv). From 7 days to the date of arrival the full price of gte hire will be due.

v). The bond, if paid, will be returned in full.

6). Alteration

Gites4us will make every effort to act upon requests to change an existing booking but reserve the right to charge an administration fee of 15 and any other direct costs incurred in so doing.

7). Cancellation by us

We promise not to cancel your holiday unless an extreme emergency occurs. Should we find it impossible for reasons beyond our control, to provide you with the accommodation you have booked we reserve the right to cancel your booking and return any monies paid.

8). Hirer's Responsibility

a). The hirer is responsible under French law for the property and its contents whilst on holiday. Gites4us will not be liable for any accident, damage, loss, or inconvenience whether to person or property which the client or any of his or her party may suffer arising out of or in connection with the holiday or resulting from any cause whatsoever.

b). The use of amenities where offered is entirely at the users risk and no responsibility can be accepted for injury, loss or damage to persons or property. Gites4us reserves the right to deny access to these amenities in the interests of safety or the enjoyment by other guests.

c). No responsibility can be accepted for loss or damage to any car or its contents.

d). Baggage and personal belongings are at the client's own risk at all times.

9). Complaints

Please give us an opportunity to put right any problem that arises during your stay. Please inform our on site representative who will do everything possible to deal with your complaint. Gites4us cannot accept complaints after a client has returned home.

WE RECOMMEND MOST STRONGLY that you take out PERSONAL and CANCELLATION INSURANCE.
